Support through grief, trauma
and significant change
Bereavement, trauma and major life events can affect mood, relationships, confidence, sleep, work and a person’s sense of stability.
Psychological support can provide space to understand what has happened, process difficult experiences and develop ways of managing the emotional and practical effects of change.
Grief and loss
Support may be helpful following bereavement and other significant losses, including changes to relationships, work, health or important roles in life.
Trauma
Traumatic experiences can have lasting effects on emotions, relationships and everyday functioning. Psychological support is
tailored to the individual and the nature of the experience.
Approach
The pace and focus of therapy are guided by the individual, with attention to safety, understanding, coping and practical ways forward.
